Working through Tradeline there are a number of different employment methods tailored to best suit each individual and to enhance each individuals take home pay. We feel it is important that all operatives have a choice of different employment methods available to them and our consultants alongside our payroll partners are able to advise them on the different options available, as detailed below:
PAYE
Working directly for Tradeline Recruitment you will be paid on a weekly basis and will accrue holiday pay and pension contributions as per statutory legislation.
Workwell Contractor Solutions

Construction Industry Scheme - CIS is an easy way to work for contractors in the construction industry. Once you’re registered with CIS and have passed suitability checks we will take care of your payments, making the necessary deductions for tax. This enables you to enjoy the flexibility of being a self-employed contractor.
Umbrella - This working option enables you to enjoy the flexibility of contracting while benefiting from full employment rights. Workwell will take care of your tax, National Insurance and any other pay-related issues, ensuring you are compliant with HMRC’s rules.

Umbrella - Marvel offer a standard PAYE Umbrella model for all lower paid workers who must continue to pay all PAYE deductions to HMRC. Umbrella allows a worker to benefit from one continuous employment even though they work multiple assignments. They also benefit from a competitive industry fee and all statutory benefits including Holiday Pay, Workplace Pension, Sick Pay, Maternity/ Paternity Pay.
CIS - Marvel also offer a CIS model, which offers a worker who is not Under Supervision, Direction and control, self-employed status. Using their self-employed status via UTR number, a contractor would benefit from a flat 20% tax break and a competitive industry fee.
